Sugar Grove’s well-loved Corn Boil Festival returns this weekend, promising four days filled with fun food and festivity. This year, occurring from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28 at John Shields Elementary School and Volunteer Park – one could say the cornerstone of promoting community spirit in an unforgettable summertime fashion.
Corn Boil Festival through the Ages
The event has deep roots dating back several decades with the first Corn Boil Festival we assume being in 1970. It then expanded into a regional event, drawing spectators from all over. Through the years, this event has come to feature everything under the sun, from fireworks and food trucks — creating a summer tradition in Sugar Grove.

Visit the Craft & Vendor Market to find one-of-a-kind items and handmade wares. The market operates on Saturdays and Sundays, indoors inside the gymnasium and multi-purpose room of Immaculata campus.
Transportation and Parking
Guests will have help getting around the festival grounds with shuttle service in addition to plenty of parking.
The 2019 festival will be held August 24th and 25th. Couple that witha jam-packed programme of activites, good food and lively entertainment -there’s something for everyone. That means; the amount of fun you can have with us this weekend is endless, so come and create some new memories.
